Education, Awareness, and Strategy

“We don’t know what we don’t know.”

A common message leadership echoes when talking to prospective clients. Since the beginning, we have felt that educating not only leadership but the end users goes a long way in ensuring your company tech is working towards your company goals. Strategic planning is one of our core proactive service deliveries where we spend time listening and learning from the business so that in turn enables our teams to align technology to achieve those business goals. This topic hits home for me in many ways and so I wanted to share some thoughts with you!

Education, Awareness, and Strategy –
Things to think about:

  • Annual roadmap and budgetary planning – What are the business goals? How will IT fuel those goals? Are all IT projects prioritized with a timeline?

  • IT Validation of the chosen path – Who is validating the IT decisions that are being made?

  • Awareness and understanding – What is the current state of your IT landscape? How do you differentiate your worries between what may actually be an issue vs what you may not understand?

  • Risk Management – Risks, probabilities, and wrapping our heads around not “if” but “when” could there be an issue?

  • Cyber Security – How much is enough? Are we training your users to help reduce the risks?

  • Protection – What/Why/Who are we protecting? Do you have a layered approach to both physical and tech security?

Client or not, we love to chat about these topics and help empower leadership. If the wheels are turning and you have questions, contact us, and we will be happy to connect with you.
